At Design Style Kingston, we specialize in creating stunning interiors that captivate potential buyers and maximize your property’s value. We are award winning and we have heard from several people that it felt like they were walking through a magazine, when they toured our staged properties.

Your investment in staging is often around .05% of the sale price, which is dramatically less than a price reduction (which often starts at about 2% of the sale price). If you can avoid a price reduction, you can keep more money in your pocket!

Several of the homes we have staged have sold just above asking or at list price (which is great in today’s market). Earlier this year, two properties (which we staged) sold for about $45,000.00 over asking, each. In 2025, we had one staged home sell for $75,000.00 over asking—we are very proud to be part of RESA’s Sold Over List Price $75,000.00 Club!

We’ve had lots of great feedback about our staging and several home buyers asked to buy our furniture and accessories (so we definitely know they felt that desired emotional connection 😃)!

Of the homes that we staged and were sold in 2025, the average number of days on market until accepted offer was only 19.3 days (the median was only 9 days); which means the fewer times that you (the home seller) have to make your house spotless before rushing out for showings with your busy life, kids, and pets… (*priceless*).

Model Suite Staging

We at Design Style Kingston have been fortunate to be asked to stage model suites in Kingston and area.

We also just finished staging the model suite for Homestead’s latest building in Ottawa…photos coming soon!

Horizon Legacy ( https://www.horizonlegacy.com ) designed and constructed a 3D building in Gananoque, ON using robotics. In January 2026, we completed model suite staging for one of their units.
