Your investment in staging is often around .05% of the sale price, which is dramatically less than a price reduction (which often starts at about 2% of the sale price. If you can avoid a price reduction, you can keep more money in your pocket!

We have had several staged homes sell just over asking, two sell about $45,000 over list, and even one sell $75,000 over list!! We’ve had lots of great feedback about our staging and several home buyers asked to buy our furniture and accessories (so we definitely know they felt that desired emotional connection 😃)!

Of the homes that we staged and were sold in 2025, the average number of days on market until accepted offer was only 19.8 days (the median was only 9 days); which means the fewer times that you (the home seller) have to make your house spotless before rushing out for showings with your busy life, kids, and pets… (*priceless*).

Model Suite Staging

We at Design Style Kingston have been fortunate to be asked to stage model suites in Kingston and area.

In the fall of 2025, we staged the model suite at the Madeleine (owned and managed by Homestead Land Holdings Limited). The Madeleine’s model suite gallery is here: https://www.themadeleine.ca/gallery

In January 2026, we completed model suite staging for a property that was designed and constructed by Horizon Legacy using robotics.
